Mayor Susan Shin Angulo was one of the Jeep Judges along with Commander Merimonde of the American Legion. Beautiful weather, awesome Jeeps and a great crowd made it a great time for all.
Continue reading →Members of the Cherry Hill FOP Lodge 28 and other volunteers joined in the American Legion Post 372’s Annual Flagging of veterans graves at Locustwood Cemetery on May 21, 2022. This American Legion tradition began in 1935 when Locustwood Cemetery deeded free graves for their veterans. Since then they have been flagging all the veterans graves for Memorial Day and in preparation for Memorial Day services and their American Legion Statewide Services. There are over 2,400 graves of veterans in the cemetery – many of which paid the ultimate sacrifice during the wars – from WWII to GWOT. … Continue reading →

Continue reading →December 21st, 2021 – Mayor Susan Shin Angulo and Council President David Fleisher are pleased to announce lifelong Cherry Hill resident and 22-year veteran of the Cherry Hill Police Department, Robert Kempf, has been named the next Chief of Police. Kempf, who holds Juris Doctor and Masters in Business Administrations degrees from Rutgers University, will become acting chief effective immediately and will be formally appointed chief by resolution at a Council Meeting in January.
